Electromagnetic Wave Shielding Thermal Spraying: Effects of Electromagnetic Wave Classification and Noise Countermeasures

- Noise issues and shielding effects for each electromagnetic domain - Electromagnetic wave shielding measures for in-vehicle power electronics enclosures, radar, communication, measurement devices, and medical imaging equipment!

At Kodama Co., Ltd., we are engaged in the development of electromagnetic noise countermeasures technology according to shield classifications. We have developed a thermal spray coating that exhibits shielding effectiveness of approximately 8 to 50 dB in low-frequency magnetic fields (below 100 kHz), about 10 to 95 dB in near-field electric/magnetic fields (100 kHz to 1 GHz), and approximately 95 to 120 dB in far-field plane waves (1 GHz to 6 GHz). Please make use of this for electromagnetic shielding measures in automotive power electronics enclosures, radar, communication, measurement equipment, and medical imaging devices. 【Features】 - Exhibits an attenuation effect of approximately 10 to 50 dB for low-frequency (500 Hz to 100 kHz) magnetic noise. - As it is a thermal spray (spray type), it can coat complex shapes and narrow areas. - The magnetic shield attenuation effect can be controlled by changing the film thickness. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
